Connection through Tea - An Online Gathering with Mona (Teawala) and Taniya
Connection through Tea
An Online Gathering with Mona (Teawala) and Taniya
There is a specific kind of magic that happens over a cup of tea. It is a slowing down, a softening, and a steadying of life's rhythm. We invite you to join us for an intimate online session dedicated to the art of connection and the stories that flourish when we take the time to sit together.
The Tea Experience
Mona, the founder of Teawala, is a dedicated tea educator and origin traveler who has journeyed to over ten tea regions across Asia to source farm-direct teas. She will guide the group through a sensory tasting of a beautiful Osmanthus Oolong. To explore the tea’s full profile, we will experience it in two ways:
Hot Brew: Prepared together live during the session.
Cold Brew: A refreshing exploration (instructions for prep will be sent ahead of time).
The Poetry & Storytelling
Taniya is a poet and published author who believes in the power of words to bridge the gaps between us. She has curated a selection of poems centered on the theme of connection, which the group will read and discuss together.
The Connection
This afternoon is a celebration of the friendships formed through the beautiful world of tea. Mona and Taniya will share stories of the adventures they have shared, sparked entirely by a mutual love for the leaf, and invite you to share your own stories of connection as we sip together.
